Job summary

Germains Seed Technology, part of AB Agri, is seeking an FP&A Analyst to shape financial planning and forecasting across Europe and North America. You will partner with senior finance leaders and regional teams, lead finance improvement projects, and influence key business decisions while developing your career.

The role involves hybrid working between Kings Lynn and Peterborough, with a fixed-term 9-month contract and a salary starting around £36k plus pension and flexible benefits.

Qualifications

• A-level education or equivalent experience.
• CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification, either completed or in progress.
• Experience working with finance systems and business intelligence tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
• The ability to communicate financial information clearly to a range of stakeholders.
• Experience working with reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Project management experience would be advantageous.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong working relationships across team.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and period-end reporting processes across the business.
• Prepare actual and forecast review presentations with analysis and challenge.
• Produce period-end reporting packs and ensure timely submission of financial data.
• Lead finance and business information projects across regions for consistency.
• Manage monthly cash flow reporting and deliver insights.
• Drive improvements and standardisation in management reporting across the organisation.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and value.
• Manage the European Finance AP & AR team.
