Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is working with an established commercial business based in Portsmouth, Hampshire, to appoint an experienced FP&A Analyst. You will join a finance team delivering forecasts, budgets, and analyses to support strategic decisions.

The role offers hybrid working with 1 day from home and 1 day a week in London, with exposure to multi-regional planning and collaboration with senior stakeholders. Salary dependent on experience, plus bonus potential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in FP&A or a similar finance role within multi-regional or complex organisations.
• A degree in Finance or Accounting, with strong financial modelling skills and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
• Demonstrates high attention to detail, analytical mindset, and effective communication skills.
• Able to work collaboratively across functions and apply a strategic perspective.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the preparation, consolidation, and analysis of monthly forecasts and annual budgets, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Partnering with commercial teams to review sales forecasts and performance, helping identify opportunities and mitigate risks
• Developing and maintaining financial models to support long-range planning, scenario analysis, and strategic evaluations
• Contributing to the creation of reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive stakeholders, providing clear insights into business performance
• Collaborating with regional teams and global finance to ensure compliance with planning standards and governance

What will the FP&A Analyst role involve?
