Job description

Are you an FP&A professional who thrives on turning numbers into insights?
Do you enjoy digging into the detail to understand what’s really driving
performance?

Are you confident presenting financial information to stakeholders across the business, even those without a finance background?

If so, this role could be a great fit.

We're working with a business known for its strong culture and collaborative approach, looking for an FP&A Analyst to join on an initial 15 month contract with the potential to extend. This is a fantastic opportunity to add value from day one, helping to shape decision-making through high-quality analysis and insight.

Paying up to £45,000, the role is largely remote, with occasional travel to the Colchester office once a week.

What you'll do:

Deliver accurate, insightful analysis for reporting and decision-making

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning cycles

Track performance vs targets, highlighting key variances and drivers

Provide clear, actionable insights to stakeholders

Support scenario modelling and ad hoc analysis

Improve and automate reporting tools and dashboards

Enhance financial processes and controls

What They're looking for:

A background in finance or accounting—whether you're part-qualified, newly qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA), or qualified by experience

Solid experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling

Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail

Advanced Excel skills; experience with tools like Power BI, TM1, or Adaptive Insights is a plus

Confident communicator—able to explain financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders

Skilled at turning complex data into clear, actionable insights

A proactive, collaborative attitude with a focus on adding value and driving improvement

What they'll offer you:

  • Paying between £40,000 - £45,000
  • Join a culture that’s open, inclusive, and built on flexibility—we celebrate individuality and support one another

Earn a competitive salary that reflects your experience, plus a benefits package designed with real life in mind

Work where you thrive—mostly remote, with the freedom to find your balance

Enjoy 25 days’ holiday (rising after two years), all the bank holidays, and your birthday off—because you deserve it

Look after your health with a cash plan, wellbeing support, and access to confidential counselling when you need it

Family matters—so we offer enhanced leave for new parents and adopters

Get more from everyday spending with cashback, retail discounts, cycle-to-work, and electric car schemes

And for peace of mind: life insurance and personal accident cover come as standard

If you’re looking for a role where your analysis genuinely informs the bigger picture, let’s talk.
