We're working with a business known for its strong culture and collaborative approach, looking for an FP&A Analyst to join on an initial 15 month contract with the potential to extend. This is a fantastic opportunity to add value from day one, helping to shape decision-making through high-quality analysis and insight.
Paying up to £45,000, the role is largely remote, with occasional travel to the Colchester office once a week.
What you'll do:
Deliver accurate, insightful analysis for reporting and decision-making
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning cycles
Track performance vs targets, highlighting key variances and drivers
Provide clear, actionable insights to stakeholders
Support scenario modelling and ad hoc analysis
Improve and automate reporting tools and dashboards
Enhance financial processes and controls
What They're looking for:
A background in finance or accounting—whether you're part-qualified, newly qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA), or qualified by experience
Solid experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling
Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
Advanced Excel skills; experience with tools like Power BI, TM1, or Adaptive Insights is a plus
Confident communicator—able to explain financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
Skilled at turning complex data into clear, actionable insights
A proactive, collaborative attitude with a focus on adding value and driving improvement
