Job summary

A leading PE-backed technology platform is seeking a Temporary FP&A Analyst to join their London team. This newly created role involves supporting budgeting and forecasting, implementing Anaplan, and performing financial analysis. Ideal candidates will be qualified accountants with experience in FP&A and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant, ideally Big 4 trained with at least 18 months experience in FP&A.
• Previous experience working with Anaplan.
• Prior experience in commercial finance or M&A.

Our client, a PE-backed technology platform, is looking for a Temporary FP&A Analyst to join their London team in a newly created role. Supporting the Head of FP&A, and working very closely with the transformation team, the successful candidate will have a background in financial planning and analysis and experience in working with or implementing Anaplan. Looking for an early June start and could lead to something longer term.

Description

The responsibilities of the Temporary FP&A Analyst role include, but are not limited to:

• Support budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes.
• Assist in the implementation and integration of Anaplan.
• Perform financial analysis and modelling to support strategic decisions.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve processes.
• Business partner across various commercial teams to deliver high-quality financial analysis and reporting.

Skills

The skills of the Temporary FP&A Analyst role include, but are not limited to:

• Qualified accountant, ideally Big 4 trained with at least 18 months experience of working in FP&A.
• Previous experience working with Anaplan.
• Prior experience of working in commercial finance or M&A.
• Advanced Excel user including ability to model.
• Detailed oriented, with creative problem-solving and critical thinking.
• A team player with strong business acumen and work ethic.
