Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Quality Engineer in Stourbridge to lead quality initiatives within our foundry operations. You will generate and analyze quality data, drive corrective actions, and manage documentation in the QMS to improve product quality and process control.

You will head root cause analyses, support customer audits, and collaborate with stakeholders to reduce variability in casting quality and ensure compliance with internal standards.

Qualifications

• Proven technical foundry knowledge associated with production processes, foundry capabilities and controls for high integrity ductile iron.
• Ability to facilitate Lean / Root cause analysis projects.
• ITAF and ISO Awareness.

Responsibilities

• Generate, control, monitor, report and review quality data to identify and communicate trends.
• Lead RCA teams to identify and resolve quality issues using tools like 5 whys, 8D and corrective action tracking.
• Maintain communication of internal and external rejects to stakeholders.
• Implement process controls and document control procedures.
• Record and track internal and external rejects and their disposition.
• Conduct scrap and customer return reviews to drive improvements.
• Input data and compliance documentation into the QMS and drive improvements.
