Job summary

Gap Personnel Limited is recruiting for a Foundry Operative in Gloucester to join a high-grade aluminium casting manufacturer. The role offers temporary to permanent prospects with training, progression opportunities and a strong benefits package. Pay is £13.27–£16.50 per hour, with permanent night shift uplift after training.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or foundry experience required.
• Reliable with a strong attendance record.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Awareness of Health & Safety procedures; FLT experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating Gas-Fired and Induction Melting equipment.
• Casting finished products using automated casting machinery.
• Following melt instruction sheets accurately.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety.
• Working in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.
• Full training and supervision provided.
