Job summary

EXL is seeking a highly skilled Palantir Data Engineer to join our Insurance practice in London. The role focuses on building scalable data platforms, leveraging Palantir Foundry and AIP, and driving AI/ML-enabled outcomes for enterprise clients.

You will design and optimize data pipelines, ingest and transform data, and develop Foundry applications and front-end solutions using TypeScript, Python, and PySpark.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry (data ingestion, transformations, datasets, Workshop).
• Strong programming in Python and PySpark.
• Experience with AWS services (S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda, Redshift).
• Experience building applications within Foundry and using Foundry Workshop.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms.
• Develop and manage data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration workflows within Palantir Foundry.
• Create and optimize Foundry datasets, pipelines, and applications to support analytics and AI-driven outcomes.
• Develop interactive business applications using Foundry Workshop, Slate, and front‑end solutions.
• Build robust applications and integrations using TypeScript, Python, and PySpark.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into data workflows and support Foundry AIP deployments.
• Implement data quality, governance, security, and performance best practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD, DevOps practices, and cloud‑native deployments.
• Work within Agile delivery teams to deliver complex data engineering initiatives.
