Job summary

Skillsearch seeks a Technical Product Manager for AI Systems in a stealth AI startup. This founding-role focuses on AI-native productivity, starting with email and expanding to notes, tasks, calendar. Fully remote for UK-based candidates, with London HQ likely later.

You will shape AI behavior, work with ML/engineering on design and evaluation, and own quality end to end. Ideal candidate has 6+ years shipping complex tech products and hands-on LLM experience.

Qualifications

• 6+ years shipping complex, technical products end to end.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based products in production.
• Strong CS fundamentals and system design instincts.
• Experience with model evaluation, experimentation, or AI system iteration.
• Comfort with reasoning about hallucinations and failure modes.
• Zero-to-one shipping experience in pre-launch phases.

Responsibilities

• Define how the AI should behave—model and system behavior end to end.
• Collaborate with ML and engineering on system design and evaluation.
• Build evaluation frameworks: offline metrics, online experiments, human feedback.
• Own product quality end to end and ensure reliability.
