Job summary

Explore Group is partnering with an early-stage venture-backed legal tech startup to hire a Staff or Senior Product Engineer. You’ll be among the first engineers, owning product direction, shipping features from day one, and working directly with users to define what should be built.

Qualifications

• Experience at early-stage startups with high ownership
• Strong frontend skills in TypeScript/React and modern frameworks
• Ability to define problems, iterate quickly, and ship production features
• Experience building AI-assisted workflows and AI-powered systems in production
• Knowledge of scalable TypeScript codebases and monorepos
• Familiarity with cloud deployments (GCP) and end-to-end product ownership

Responsibilities

• Build and ship production features from day one
• Work closely with users to understand pain points and validate solutions
• Help define product strategy in a fast-moving environment
• Design and scale TypeScript-based systems across the stack
• Build AI-powered workflows and agent-based systems beyond basic prompts
• Set engineering standards and raise the bar as the team grows
