Job summary

Universal Care Group is seeking a Registered Supported Accommodation Manager to lead a brand-new 16–18 youth accommodation in Retford, Nottingham. You will shape culture, drive high standards, and build a capable team from day one, while collaborating with a visible Responsible Individual and safeguarding professionals.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or Ofsted-accepted equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience within supported accommodation or similar regulated settings.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with vulnerable young people aged 16–18 or in children's social care.
• Strong knowledge of the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023 and Quality Standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the supported accommodation service in line with regulatory standards.
• Lead quality assurance, audits, action plans and monitor Ofsted readiness.
• Ensure safeguarding, incident tracking, KPIs and outcomes for young people are managed.
