Job summary

The Green Recruitment Company is recruiting for a major UK energy group launching its first Independent Distribution Network Operator (iDNO). You will lead the founding team, set strategy and build the organisation from day one.

As Head of iDNO, you will engage with Ofgem, code bodies and industry stakeholders, own licensing and operating-readiness, and shape the commercial framework while traveling across the UK as required.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in electricity networks or regulated infrastructure.
• Track record launching or transforming a regulated business.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and launch of the iDNO business.
• Act as principal interface with Ofgem, code bodies and industry stakeholders.
• Set the strategy, operating model and commercial framework.
• Own licensing, accession and operational-readiness delivery.
• Build and lead the enduring iDNO team.
• Own governance, budget and material risks.
