Job summary

Spectrum Search is partnering with a well-backed AI developer building cloud-based infrastructure for AI-assisted software engineering. They are expanding their founding engineering team and seeking a product-minded engineer to take significant ownership across the platform.

The role involves end-to-end feature work in a TypeScript stack and cloud environment. Based in London, you will work closely with the founding team, shape product direction, and own from requirements to production.

Qualifications

• Early engineering hire with high ownership in a founder-led team.
• Experience shipping features in an early-stage startup or high-ownership environment.
• Proven ability to take problems from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship core product functionality across the full stack
• Develop production systems using TypeScript, with exposure to Svelte and Go
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Cloudflare Workers, Durable Objects and Google Cloud Platform
• Improve backend performance, reliability and user experience
• Own product areas from user requirements to deployment
• Work directly with users and incorporate feedback into product development
• Contribute to architecture decisions and engineering standards as the team expands
• Use AI coding tools as part of development workflow
