Job summary

Versori, Avalara's AI‑agentic integration platform, is building its Customer Success function from the ground up. As a founding member of the Versori Customer Success team, you’ll help write the playbook and shape how we engage, retain, and grow customers from day one, with autonomy to build processes, frameworks, and team culture that scale.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Customer Success Manager at Mid‑Market or Strategic level
• Ability to analyse complex information to identify practical solutions
• Strong communication skills across formats and audiences
• Ability to tailor messaging to diverse stakeholders
• Experience managing a high‑volume book of business
• Proven ability to prioritise and deliver in a fast‑paced environment
• Passion for customer success in technical SaaS/integration
• Familiarity with enterprise systems and integration concepts

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong engagement across your portfolio to drive retention, workflow adoption, and growth
• Identify integration risks early and implement 'get well' strategies to prevent churn
• Onboard new customers with timely engagements from contract to first live workflow
• Contribute to QBRs focusing on value realization and long‑term partnership growth
• Act as escalation point for customer issues coordinating with delivery and leadership
• Maintain accurate Salesforce records including health scores and risks
• Advocate for customer feedback to shape product roadmaps
• Build strong stakeholder relationships to drive platform stickiness
