Asterix Health is a remote healthcare services provider building DoctorOS to enable NHS GP work from abroad. You’ll own high-impact, cross-functional initiatives with a co-founder, shaping strategy across product, sales, operations and compliance.
This role is for builders who want to scale a fast-growing healthtech, with travel expected and close collaboration with the leadership team in London. You’ll learn quickly and drive real outcomes in a regulated environment.
We're solving the biggest problem in healthcare: the shortage of highly-qualified doctors.
Millions of patients wait weeks for appointments. Millions more are stuck on hospital waitlists. Preventable conditions are missed and go unnoticed. You know this is a societal problem.
Asterix is building the only scalable solution. We are a remote healthcare services provider, and the only company approved to work with GPs working remotely for the NHS from abroad. Our highly-qualified doctors are augmented by best-in-class technology to make safer, more consistent clinical decisions.
Our DoctorOS platform is becoming the backbone of modern healthcare delivery. We combine rigorous clinical leadership, real-world healthcare workflows, and AI tooling that makes doctors 10x more productive.
Asterix was founded by Julian and Max, who met at Entrepreneur First. We're backed by Triple Point Ventures, D2 Fund, DLB Ventures and a group of incredible angels from healthcare, technology and policy backgrounds. We're deployed at some of the largest healthcare providers in the UK, generating revenue and scaling fast.
You'll work directly with Julian (Co-founder & CEO) on the highest-leverage problems in the business. From day one, you'll own cross-functional initiatives, shape strategy, and push execution forward across product, sales, operations and compliance.
This is not a support role. Your job is to free up founder time by owning problems end-to-end, and to step into whatever matters most this week, even when it's undefined. It's for builders who want to learn how real companies scale by doing it themselves.
Expect some travel, customer proximity and real responsibility.
Strategic initiatives: Lead high-stakes, ambiguous projects from idea to execution to results. Scope opportunities, build execution plans and drive outcomes, acting as the connective tissue across Product, Engineering, Clinical, Sales and Ops.
Commercial and go-to-market: Accelerate sales cycles through sales enablement, materials and deal momentum. Support the Growth team in defining how Asterix is positioned across web, email, conferences and in person, represent the business externally, and find and fix bottlenecks in the funnel.
Operations and systems: Design and run internal workflows across admin, tooling, vendors and compliance. Build repeatable processes that let the company move faster with less friction, and help shape our operating cadence, KPIs and accountability.
Data, compliance and scale: Own data and medical device compliance processes alongside our engineering and clinical leads, balancing speed with safety in a regulated environment. Use data and structured analysis (Excel, SQL, AI) to inform decisions.
You’ll report to and work with Julian (Co-founder & CEO). In your role, you’ll naturally work across the entire business, with Max (Co-founder & COO) on operations and systems, Keith (CTO) on product and engineering, Dr Harriet Bradley (Medical Director) on clinical governance and compliance, and Jamil (Delivery Operations Manager) on GP supply-side operations. You'll also represent Asterix with customers, partners and at events.
You're an early-career operator who wants to learn how companies scale by doing it. You've spent time in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment and you're happiest context-switching between customer conversations, detailed admin, product research and keeping the business moving.
You thrive in ambiguity:you ask the right questions, simplify complexity and get to root causes fast. You don't wait for instructions; you investigate, propose and iterate. No task is beneath you, and you want to grow faster than feels comfortable.
You will have an outsized impact on the trajectory of the company. This is a role with direct exposure to the founders and real strategic decisions, and ownership over initiatives that materially move the company. You'll learn more, faster, here than anywhere else. What it boils down to:
You care about yourself and those around you, about your work, the user and the mission. You bring passion to everything you do.
We have ambitious plans and need people with the pace and endurance to get us there. You move with urgency. It's not a 9-to-5 job.
You take ownership of messy, open-ended problems and push them to resolution without waiting to be asked.
You lift the team around you with positive energy. We'll be spending a lot of time together and want to have fun doing so.
You have bent reality to achieve something. We want to hear about your latest side project and how you broke the status quo.
We care about you, not your credentials. We care about energy, judgment and ownership, and look forward to hearing from you!
We assume we're wrong until the data or a clinician proves otherwise. Curiosity over ego, always.
No corporate cosplay. You don't wait for permission; you own problems end-to-end and push them to resolution. Solving one of society's biggest problems won't happen in a 9-to-5.
We take the work seriously, not ourselves. We celebrate progress, support each other, and keep the energy high.
We work shoulder-to-shoulder in London. It makes us faster, tighter, and better
We're an early-stage company with massive ambition. The pace here is fast, with ambitious delivery targets. You will thrive if this excites you, but if you want a traditional 9-to-5 this role is not for you.
