Job summary

Frazer-Nash Consultancy is seeking a Foundations Package Lead to drive the design package for fixed-bottom and floating offshore wind projects in development. You will lead scopes, manage suppliers and coordinate with other packages to deliver robust foundation solutions.

The role offers a competitive salary (£60,000–£75,000) and a flexible hybrid working pattern across UK offices, client sites and home working. A Chartered Engineer and an engineering degree are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Extensive direct experience working in the offshore wind industry as package manager/lead or project manager to a developer, foundation designer or WTG OEM in the early project or design phase of an offshore wind project.
• Strong technical knowledge of floating foundations for offshore wind projects.
• Strong commercial awareness, including supplier and contract management.
• Strong HSEQ awareness for offshore wind projects.
• Excellent communication skills, with previous track record in developing and managing relationships with multiple stakeholders within the offshore wind industry.
• A degree in Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of the Foundations Design package for fixed-bottom and floating offshore wind projects in development phase.
• Lead the definition, analysis and execution of technical scopes of work for the foundation package.
• Procurement support, including tender preparation and evaluation.
• Management of suppliers.
• Support identification and management of technical risks for the projects.
• Interface management with other packages.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and HSEQ guidelines and standards.
