Job summary

Swiis Foster Care is recruiting a Fostering Supervising Social Worker in Birmingham and the West Midlands. You will work closely with foster carers to ensure safe, nurturing and stable homes for children and young people, delivering supervision and support in a varied role.

The post involves managing a caseload, safeguarding and care planning, completing records, and supporting carer reviews. Permanent contract, 37.5 hours, with generous leave and benefits.

Qualifications

• Registered Social Worker with current registration.
• Experience in fostering services and case management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a caseload of foster carers.
• Ensure safe, nurturing and stable homes for children and young people.
• Deliver high-quality supervision, guidance and support visits.
• Assist foster carers to evidence competencies and complete workbooks.
• Support annual foster carer reviews and panel presentations.
• Identify training needs and contribute to workshops and groups.
• Participate in Out-of-Hours rota.
• Maintain GDPR-compliant records and timely documentation.
