Job summary

Barnsley Council’s Children’s Services is recruiting a highly motivated, enthusiastic Social Worker to join the fostering supervisory team on a full-time basis. You’ll supervise foster carers, support placement stability, deliver training, and participate in annual reviews and the fostering duty rota, working with colleagues across Children’s Services to plan and safeguard children.

A degree or diploma in Social Work and registration with Social Work England are required; a competitive salary

• Ability to build relationships with children, young people, parents, carers and partners.
• Curiosity in practice and strong desire to achieve the best outcomes for children and families.
