Job summary

Caritas Recruitment in Buckinghamshire seeks an experienced Supervising Social Worker to join the Fostering Team on a Buckinghamshire-based role, paying up to £38 per hour. You will provide supervision, guidance and support to foster carers to achieve positive outcomes for children in care.

Qualifications

• Registration with Social Work England is required.
• Experience in Fostering or safeguarding children is required.
• Knowledge of fostering regulations and legislation.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Caritas Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Supervising Social Worker to join Buckinghamshire's Fostering Service.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive fostering team, providing guidance, supervision and support to foster carers while helping to achieve the best possible outcomes for children in care.

• Provide supervision, support and development to foster carers.
• Undertake annual reviews, risk assessments and fostering-related visits.
• Support carers to meet the needs of children and young people in placement.
• Work collaboratively with children's social workers and partner agencies.

Requirements

• Social Work England Registration.
• Experience within Fostering, Children's Safeguarding or Looked After Children's Services.
• Knowledge of fostering regulations, standards and legislation.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
