Job Description:

An Essex based Local Authority is looking for a Fostering Marketing & Recruitment Team Manager to join their newly formed fostering service. This authority is using an innovative vision and embarking on a positive journey for the future, employing a model called Restorative Practice.

This position will be based within their Marketing and Recruitment Team within the fostering social work service.

As the new Team Manager, you will lead efforts in recruiting and processing applications for prospective foster carers, managing the pipeline at stages 1 and 2.

You will collaborate with the communication team to ensure the council provides a first-class professional service by overseeing the efficient and cost-effective delivery of needs-led services to children, young people, and their families.

You will manage a team of 4, oversee performance, provide formal supervision to staff, and ensure appraisals are conducted, addressing any skills gaps or training needs.

What you will receive:

• A salary up to £56,000 per annum
• A one-off payment of £7,500 after three years of service
