Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited seeks a Programme Manager for a 5-month contract to lead the South-East London Fostering Hub, delivered under an umbrella arrangement. The role focuses on creating and executing a regional fostering programme to recruit, approve and retain foster carers locally, improving outcomes for children with stable placements.

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong understanding of programme and project management methodologies.
• Familiarity with local authority structures and service delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup and execution of the South-East London Fostering Hub.
• Develop and oversee programme initiation, project plans, milestones, governance structures, and delivery frameworks.
• Coordinate various workstreams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet agreed outcomes.
• Monitor programme performance and regularly report progress to senior leadership and governance boards.
