Job summary

Royal Borough of Greenwich is seeking a Programme Manager to lead the South-East London Fostering Hub. The role focuses on developing and delivering grant-funded projects with partners to achieve measurable outcomes for children, young people and families.

You will manage risks, budgets and dependencies, and report progress to senior leaders and funders, ensuring alignment with service objectives and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing and delivering complex projects or programmes, ideally with grant funding.
• Ability to develop and monitor programme plans, milestones, budgets, and funding requirements.
• Strong partnership building across services and external organisations.
• Risk and dependency management with proactive issue resolution.
• Data, insight and performance information to track progress and outcomes.
• Clear, effective communication with senior leaders and funders.

Responsibilities

• Provide programme management oversight for Foster South-East London.
• Ensure projects are well planned, delivered on time and within budgets.
• Monitor outcomes, risks, dependencies and grant conditions.
• Produce high-quality reports and updates for senior leaders and boards.
• Collaborate across teams and partners to keep the needs of children, young people and families at the centre.
