Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer to help customers evaluate, adopt, and deploy next-generation AI technologies as part of enterprise transformation. You will bridge research with real-world deployments, delivering secure, scalable AI solutions and rapid proofs of value across AGI, quantum, photonic, and AI infrastructure domains.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and delivering innovative AI solutions in customer-facing engineering, architecture, research, or Forward Deployment Engineering roles.
• Proven experience evaluating emerging technologies and translating research into production-ready enterprise solutions.
• Strong expertise in AI architectures, distributed systems, cloud-native engineering, and enterprise software development.
• Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn, evaluate, prototype, and industrialize emerging technologies.
• Broad knowledge across quantum computing, photonic computing, AI infrastructure, advanced networking, and next-generation enterprise architectures.
• Experience with containerization, Kubernetes, cloud-native platforms, CI/CD, MLOps/LLMOps, infrastructure automation, and secure-by-design engineering.
• Proven ability to leverage AI-assisted development, intelligent coding agents, and automation to accelerate delivery.
• Excellent consulting, communication, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills.
