Lenovo in Farnborough, United Kingdom, seeks a Forward Deployed Engineering Director to lead a team delivering AI-powered solutions across business functions. You will drive architecture, governance, and fast-paced delivery across enterprise contexts.

You will partner with business leaders to translate challenges into scalable AI-enabled platforms, guiding teams in leveraging Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, and Microsoft 365 to achieve measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

15+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, AI, or related technical leadership.
Proven ability to lead high-performing teams delivering AI, automation, or intelligent workflows.
Strong governance, standards, and talent development capabilities.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop Forward Deployed Engineers embedded across business units.
Partner with Domain Leaders to map workflows and identify AI opportunities.
Guide design and delivery of AI solutions using Microsoft AI and productivity platforms.
Establish repeatable delivery methodologies, standards, and governance.
Enable rapid prototyping, short sprints, user testing, and iterative delivery.
Collaborate with stakeholders to remove blockers and accelerate adoption.
Communicate progress and business impact to executives.
