Job Title: Formulation Scientist – Global Agrochemical Company

Contract: 24 months

Salary: £18.16 per hour

SRG is working with a global agrochemical company seeking a Formulation Scientist to join their team. The ideal candidate is a chemistry-related graduate with some industrial experience.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Contribute to the design of formulations for new and existing active ingredients.
2. Collaborate with the team leader to define formulation development inputs for multi-functional project teams.
3. Coordinate with other functions to deliver project outputs such as glasshouse screening, analytical testing, and biokinetics, with support from a team leader.
4. Provide technical problem-solving support on formulation issues to interfacing functions like global supply, manufacturing, marketing, and sales, under the guidance of a team leader.
5. Prioritize safety of self and colleagues in all work activities, adhering to HSE standards.
6. Qualifications: BSc/MSc in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or related field.
7. Industrial experience or a placement year is highly desirable.
