Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Formulation Group Lead Scientist in Sittingbourne, England. The role leads an off-site PSS team, ensuring high quality output, client satisfaction, and effective leadership, with up to 20% leadership time and 80% focus on technical work.

Qualifications

• Leadership of a professional scientific services team
• Strong client liaison and stakeholder management
• Hands-on formulation and pre-formulation activities

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and guide the PSS team to maintain productivity, quality and safety standards
• Lead coaching, mentoring, and performance discussions to support team development
• Maintain effective communication with client and Eurofins stakeholders to ensure timely information sharing
• Provide support for small-scale manufacturing and pre-formulation activities for oral solid dosage development
• Support product and materials characterization work, including tablet and capsule testing and rheology
• Interpret experimental data, assist with development protocols and technical reports, ensure quality documentation
• Contribute to formulation and process design, technology transfer and product launch activities
• Act as equipment owner, supporting maintenance, calibration and continuous improvement initiatives
