Job summary

Alpine Formula One Team in Enstone is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Software Engineering and Data team, building in-house systems for design, manufacture, simulation and performance analysis. You will collaborate with users across design, performance and race engineering, owning work from initial conversation to release.

You'll design solutions that fit the architecture, write high-quality code, review peers, and monitor live features.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial experience developing in C# and .NET; core requirement.
• Experience building web services (gRPC/REST) and relational DBs (SQL Server).
• Good grasp of software design patterns and judicious use.
• Experience across the full development lifecycle: requirements to support.
• Systematic debugging and production system support.
• Clear written and verbal communication; documentation ability.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with users to understand workflows and define tasks.
• Design solutions that fit existing architecture without over-engineering.
• Write high-quality, testable code and review peers' work.
• Release features with testing, communication and monitoring.
• Maintain and evolve systems, paying down technical debt.
• Use AI-assisted development tools and assess outputs to standards.
