Job summary

Alpine Formula One Team is seeking a Software Engineer for our Enstone HQ to help restore top form on the grid. You will join a team of engineers supporting design, performance, and race operations, owning work from initial conversation to release and beyond.

You will design, implement and release reliable software across systems with a focus on quality, maintainability and users’ needs. Experience with C#/.NET, web services, SQL Server, and modern tooling is essential; hybrid or on-site

Qualifications

• Proven commercial experience developing in C# and .NET.
• Experience building web services (gRPC, REST) and working with SQL Server.
• A good grasp of software design and design patterns.
• Experience across the full development lifecycle: requirements, design, implementation, testing, release and support.
• A systematic approach to debugging and supporting production systems.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including technical documentation.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand user workflows, translate needs into well-defined tasks.
• Design solutions that fit existing architecture without over-engineering.
• Write high-quality, testable code and provide meaningful reviews.
• Release features with testing, communication and monitoring; use data to observe behavior.
• Maintain and evolve existing systems while building new ones; reduce technical debt.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools and maintain code quality.
