Job summary

ALPINE RACING LIMITED is seeking a Software Engineer to join the team at our Enstone, Oxfordshire headquarters. You will contribute to software across design, simulation and performance analysis, collaborating with design, performance and race engineers.

You will work as part of a cross-disciplinary team delivering robust software solutions, with hands-on coding in C#/.NET and web services, aligning with user needs and production standards.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial experience developing in C# and .NET.
• Experience building web services (gRPC, REST) and relational DBs (SQL Server).
• A degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience across the full development lifecycle: requirements, design, implementation, testing, release and support.
• Strong debugging, documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with users to understand workflows and translate needs into well-defined tasks.
• Design solutions that fit existing architecture and avoid over-engineering.
• Write high-quality, testable code and provide constructive code reviews.
• Release features with testing, communication and monitoring in place.
• Maintain and evolve existing systems while building new ones.
• Use AI-assisted development tools and apply them to code to meet standards.
