Job summary

ALPINE RACING LIMITED in Enstone is seeking a Senior Powertrain Design Engineer to lead the design of powertrain components and subsystems. You will own components across fluid systems and PU-facing elements, driving cradle-to-grave design success and delivering right-first-time solutions.

You should bring extensive F1 or high-level motorsport experience, a degree in engineering, and strong mentoring abilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in F1 or motorsport is highly desirable.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed design specifications cradle to grave for powertrain components and subsystems.
• Lead projects, coordinate with Chief Engineers and other Design Sections to resolve technical and timing conflicts.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and approve work as part of design sign-off.
• Design and specify build tooling, machined parts, and composite components for complex assemblies.
