Job summary

Pinnacle Group Limited is seeking an experienced Counterbalance FLT & Bulk Loader to join our Workplace Facilities Management Team in Carrington, Manchester. The role involves loading and unloading shipments, stock rotation and ensuring safety with FLT checks; access to transport is essential as no public transport is available.

This is a permanent full-time position, 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime at an enhanced rate.

Qualifications

• Accredited Counterbalance Forklift licence (RTITB).
• Minimum 2 years warehouse or site forklift experience.
• Own transport required; no public transport to the site.
• Strong customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Load outbound trucks according to pick sheets.
• Inspect products for quality before loading onto trucks.
• Position trucks at docks for loading.
• Complete FLT pre-use checks and logging.
• Keep floors clean, tidy and safe; adhere to schedule.

Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced Counterbalance FLT & Bulk Loader to join our Workplace Facilities Management Team to support the main logistical operations for on-site plant production support in Carrington, Manchester, M31. Access to own transport is essential as there is NO public transport to the site **

Pinnacle Workplace delivers tailored facilities management solutions across cleaning, security, catering and specialist industrial services. With nearly 600 colleagues nationwide, the team supports clients in manufacturing, retail, education and office environments.

Your role will involve preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming goods by loading and unloading trucks, trailers, and shipping containers usinga Counterbalance FLT. Product bagging and stock location/rotation.You will be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellence.

This is a Permanent Full-time role, 50 hours per week, working from 7am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday (overtime is available at an enhanced rate)

Key responsibilities will include:

• Accurately load outbound trucks/routes according to pick sheets
• Physically inspectthe product for quality before loading it onto trucks
• Position trucks at the docks for loading
• Ensure FLT pre-use checks are completed and logged
• Keep the floors clean, tidy & safe at all times.
• Adherence to work schedule and attendance policy
• Plant operations clean-up as required.
• Other warehousing duties as assigned.

Skills required will include :

• Access to own transport is essential as there is NO public transport to the site **
• Accredited Counterbalance Forklift Operating licence from an industry-recognised body such as RTITB
• Minimum of two years of experience working in a warehouse or on a construction site operating forklifts, heavy goods vehicles, or other industrial machinery
• Commitment to Customer Service with good communication skills
• Good knowledge and experience in warehouse health and safety requirements
• Ability to work as part of a team with other staff to coordinate the movement of goods, and able to use own initiative.
• Experience working to tight schedules.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment.
