Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Workshop Forklift Engineer in Bristol to service, repair and maintain a broad range of forklift trucks and handling equipment. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues and perform LOLER inspections to keep equipment compliant.

The role requires independent workload management, a professional customer-facing approach and a valid UK driving licence, with a Monday–Friday 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of diesel engines.
• Experience with electrics, hydraulics and diagnostic skills preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• A professional, reliable and customer-focused attitude.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, maintenance and repair on a broad range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment.
• Identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues.
• Carrying out LOLER inspections to ensure all equipment remains fully compliant.
• Completing safety checks and pre-delivery inspections.
