Job summary

DFDS is hiring a Warehouse Operative to join our on-site team. Working Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, you will support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing and dispatching goods to customers.

You will operate a Counterbalance forklift, manage goods in/out, pick and pack orders, maintain stock records in warehouse systems and Microsoft Office, and help keep the area clean, safe and organised.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance forklift licence required.
• Experience using pallet trucks in a warehouse or logistics setting.
• Experience with warehouse management systems or similar platforms.
• Basic IT skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading vehicles using a Counterbalance Forklift and pallet trucks.
• Managing goods in and goods out activities, ensuring stock is checked and recorded accurately.
• Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
• Maintaining stock accuracy through warehouse systems and operational processes.
• Updating records and completing administration using warehouse systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and organised in line with company standards.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to support daily operational requirements.
