Job summary

DFDS UK & Ireland is seeking a hardworking Warehouse Operative to support our busy operations. You’ll work Monday to Friday on 8-hour shifts (06:00–14:00 or 10:00–18:00), helping to keep the warehouse running smoothly and safely.

You’ll have proven Counterbalance FLT experience with a licence and feel confident in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You’re a team player who can also work independently when needed, using your initiative to keep things moving and improve where possible.

Qualifications

• Proven FLT experience with Counterbalance licence.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Able to follow health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading cargo using a forklift.
• Re-stacking and securing loads.
• Picking and packing orders.
• Carrying out routine equipment checks and reporting issues.
• Following health & safety procedures at all times.
• Supporting general warehouse tasks as needed.
• Working closely with your team to keep things flowing.

About the role

We’re looking for a hardworking Warehouse Operative to support our busy operations. You’ll be working Monday to Friday on 8-hour shifts (either 06:00–14:00 or 10:00–18:00), helping to keep the warehouse running smoothly and safely.

About you

You’ll have proven FLT experience with a Counterbalance FLT licence and feel confident working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You’re a team player with a positive attitude and a good sense of humour, helping to keep the atmosphere supportive and enjoyable. You’re also happy to work independently when needed, using your initiative to solve problems and keep things moving.
