Job summary

Flexistaff Solutions Ltd is seeking a proactive Warehouse Operative to join our busy operations team in the UK. You will support the daily receipt, storage, movement and dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety standards while contributing to timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, a full UK driving licence, and proficient computer skills. You will work well both independently and as part of a team, maintaining high standards of quality and service.

Qualifications

• Reach Truck and Counterbalance licences are essential.
• Experience in a warehouse/logistics environment.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Strong organisational and teamwork abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day warehouse operations including receipt, storage, movement and dispatch of goods.
• Assist with loading and unloading of delivery vehicles during peak periods.
• Book goods into and out of the warehouse and record stock movements accurately.
• Move stock between warehouse locations safely and efficiently.
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch to meet quality standards.
• Collate dispatch paperwork, delivery documentation and run sheets for outbound deliveries.
• Book delivery slots for inbound goods and coordinate with suppliers and transport providers.
• Monitor vehicle arrivals and chase late deliveries to minimise disruption.
• Maintain POD documentation in line with service levels.
• Assist with resolving invoice and delivery queries with internal/external stakeholders.
• Build and assemble furniture and other items to company specifications.
• Maintain accurate stock records, perform stock checks, report damaged or missing items.
