Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking a Forklift/Warehouse Operative in Malmesbury, SN16, at a leading manufacturing company. The role focuses on operating a counterbalance forklift, picking and dispatching orders, and maintaining safe warehouse operations.

Hours are Mon-Fri 8am-5pm with a pay rate of £14 per hour. Applicants should hold accredited counterbalance licences, have warehouse experience, and demonstrate reliability, numeracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Accredited Counterbalance forklift licences required.
• Experience in warehouse/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in all weather with PPE provided.
• Team oriented, with attention to detail and good numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Pick and dispatch orders to customers to a high-quality standard.

Proactive Global currently has an exciting opportunity for a Forklift/Warehouse Operative to begin work for a leading manufacturing business in Malmesbury, SN16. The idle candidate will be helping in operating forklift and managing the warehouse duties.

Our client, a leading manufacturing business is looking for a Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to contribute to their continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and dispatch orders to customers to a high-quality standard.
• Check incoming components for quantity and integrity, storing them correctly.
• Operate within Health & Safety regulations at all times.
• Be flexible to work at offsite storage locations when required.
• Handle a variety of tasks both inside and outside, in all weather conditions.

Requirements:

• Accredited Counterbalance Forklift Truck licences
• Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Strong manual handling skills and the ability to work in all climates (PPE provided).
• A team-oriented approach, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in basic IT skills and the ability to manage tasks with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and numeracy.
• A self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently.
• A flexible approach to work.
• A full, valid driving licence.
