Job summary

Proactive Global is recruiting a Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative for Malmesbury. The role involves picking and dispatching orders to a high standard, checking incoming components, and maintaining safe operations in all weather.

Hours are 7:30-16:30 Mon-Thu and 7:30-14:30 Fri; pay £13.00-£14.00 per hour. A full valid counterbalance forklift licence, driving licence, and a team-oriented, detail-focused attitude are essential; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Accredited Counterbalance Forklift Truck licences
• Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Strong manual handling skills and ability to work in all climates (PPE provided)
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Proficiency in basic IT and strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and numeracy
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Flexible to overtime when needed
• Full, valid driving licence

Responsibilities

• Pick and dispatch orders to customers to a high-quality standard
• Check incoming components for quantity and integrity, storing them correctly
• Operate within Health & Safety regulations at all times
• Be flexible to work at offsite storage locations when required
• Handle a variety of tasks both inside and outside, in all weather conditions
