Boughey Distribution is seeking a Forklift Truck Driver (Reach FLT) for its Crewe site. You’ll work four nights on, four nights off on a rotating pattern, earning £15.76 per hour. A chance to secure a permanent position with Boughey after a 12-week probation via Absolute Recruitment.

Role focuses on moving stock, picking and packing orders, and ensuring accurate goods dispatch while following health and safety rules in a busy warehouse.

Formación

• Reach Truck licence and at least one year’s experience.
• Comfortable with wider warehouse duties beyond driving a truck.
• Commitment to health and safety procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Operate gas-powered reach trucks to move and locate stock.
• Pick orders from pick lists and pack for dispatch.
• Receive deliveries, check products and store them correctly.
• Complete paperwork to keep everything accounted for.
• Report shortages or damage to the Team Leader.
• Assist with general warehouse duties and maintain a tidy workspace.

At Boughey Distribution’s modern Crewe site, you’ll work four night shifts, followed by four nights off. A predictable rotating pattern, £15.76 per hour and an opportunity to secure a permanent job.

If you’ve got a Reach Truck licence and at least a year’s experience, we’d like to hear from you.

You’ll initially work through Absolute Recruitment for a minimum of 12 weeks. Successfully complete the 12-week probationary period and you’ll be offered a full-time contract with Boughey.

What will you be doing?

You’ll help keep a busy warehouse moving: getting stock into the right place and orders out to customers accurately and safely.

That Includes

• Operating gas-powered reach trucks to move and locate stock
• Picking orders from pick lists
• Packing orders and preparing goods for dispatch
• Receiving deliveries, checking products and storing them correctly
• Checking stock and keeping warehouse locations in order
• Completing the paperwork that keeps everything accounted for
• Reporting shortages or damage to your Team Leader
• Helping with general warehouse duties, including handballing
• Following health and safety procedures and keeping your work area clean, tidy and safe

Who are we looking for?

Someone with a Reach Truck licence and at least one year’s experience who knows that careful handling and accurate picking matter.

You’ll need to be comfortable getting involved in the wider warehouse work, too. There’s more to this role than sitting on a truck.
