Job summary

Farmfoods Ltd in Daventry is hiring Reach Truck forklift drivers to replenish stock at our brand new distribution centre. You will operate a Reach Truck, maintain stock accuracy and follow safety procedures.

We offer 37.5 hours per week across five days, with weekend shift options, permanent full-time role, and a benefits package including 6 weeks holiday, 15% staff discount, free canteen, uniform and PPE.

Forklift Driver (Reach Truck)

Hours: 37.5hours across 5 days per week. Pay: £13.69- £14.85per hour. Benefits: 6 weeks holiday, 15% staff discount, staff benefits package, and more!

We are looking to recruit Forklift (Reach Truck) Drivers who will be responsible for replenishing stock using a Reach Truck at our brand new distribution centre in Daventry, Northamptonshire. Details about the new site are included below:

• Address =Logicor Park Daventry, Royal Oak Way N, Daventry, NN11 8QL.
• Positions starting in September.

We offer a permanent full time position and have a variety of shift patterns available working 5 days from 7 each week, including at least one weekend day. We may also have some part time work available.

Shift patterns include:

• - Day Shift - From 06:00 to 14:00
• - Late shift - From 14:00 to 22:00
• - Night shift - From 22:00 to 06:00

Pay, working hours & benefits:

We offer an hourly pay rate of £13.69 per hour for day shifts (£10.90 if you are under 21) and £14.85 per hour for afternoon, late and night shifts (£12.35 if you are under 21).

You will be guaranteed a minimum of 37.5 hours work per week for full time positions and if you’re looking to earn a bit more then overtime is regularly available.

As one of our Reach Truck / FLT drivers you will:

• Accurately and quickly replenish stock within the warehouse.
• Keep accurate records.
• Work within the health and safety requirements of the site.

You will need:

• To have previous Reach Truck (FLT) experience and a valid in-date Reach Truck licence.
• To be physically fit as this is a demanding role and you will be expected to achieve productivity targets.
• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Although it is not essential, if you have experience of working in a warehouse environment or experience working with manual handling equipment then let us know about it in your application.
