About The Role

The role involves servicing, maintaining, and repairing forklift trucks and other material handling equipment. On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will include:

1. Servicing, maintaining, overhauling, fault finding, and resolving faults on company products.
2. Responding to breakdowns.
3. Providing local after-sales support to customers.
4. Dealing promptly with customer inquiries, problems, or complaints.
5. Managing vehicle stock and deliveries.
6. Achieving agreed targets.

We are looking for someone with experience as a forklift engineer, plant fitter, plant technician, or in a similar role.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical engineering.
• Basic electrical knowledge is beneficial.
• Effective planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to work on your own initiative.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to build good rapport with customers.
• Full UK driving license.
