Job summary

The Best Connection Group is recruiting a Warehouse Operative/Transport Planner in Andover for a full-time, ongoing temporary position with the potential to go permanent. The role combines desk-based route planning with hands-on warehouse duties, including forklift operation and order picking.

Ideal candidates will hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence, have warehouse experience, be proficient with IT systems, and show strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence – essential.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or FLT driving role.
• Confident using computer systems.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A reliable, hardworking and flexible approach to work.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Picking and preparing loads ready for dispatch.
• Carrying out stock checks and ensuring inventory accuracy.
• Assisting with route planning and delivery organisation.
• Using computer systems to manage and update delivery routes.
• Supporting general warehouse operations as required.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Following all health and safety procedures.
