Job summary

The Best Connection Group is recruiting a Warehouse Operative/Transport Planner with Counterbalance FLT for their site in Andover. This full-time, ongoing temporary role combines forklift driving, warehouse duties and route planning, with a view to permanence.

You will operate a counterbalance forklift, pick and dispatch loads, perform stock checks and use IT systems to manage delivery routes. A reliable, detail‑oriented candidate who works well in a team will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence – essential.
• Experience in a warehouse or FLT driving role.
• Confident using computer systems.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, hardworking and flexible approach to work.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Picking and preparing loads ready for dispatch.
• Carrying out stock checks and ensuring inventory accuracy.
• Assisting with route planning and delivery organisation.
• Using computer systems to manage and update delivery routes.
• Supporting general warehouse operations as required.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Following all health and safety procedures.
