Job summary

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading Manufacturing company in their search for a Forklift/ Production Operative to work in their leading facility in Hortonwood.

The role involves operating a machine, producing circuit boards, bonding presses, forklift driving, and general warehousing tasks. A valid FLT Counterbalance Licence is essential and applicants must be able to lift up to 20kg daily.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role - ESSENTIAL
• Manufacturing experience
• FLT Counterbalance Licence - Essential
• Must be able to lift up 20kg daily.
• Knowledge/Awareness of Manual Handling as Lifting will be involved

Responsibilities

• Using a machine to develop the product
• Production of the circuit board
• Using a bonding press
• Laying up laminates into a package and placing into the press
• Forklift driving
• Unloading materials from the racking
• Adjusting the temperature on the machine
• Monitoring the pressure on the machine
• Visual inspection
• General warehousing/ stores
• Processing the product through the machine
• Manual handling as will involve lifting products at times
• Stripping layers imaged using a dry film
