Job summary

Its Building People is seeking a Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver in Fareham for a 12 week temp to perm role. The job involves operating Reach, Counterbalance and multi-directional forklifts for around 30-40% of the time, with remaining duties in general warehouse tasks and stock handling.

You will be required to have a valid licence, knowledge of health and safety, and a flexible, team-focused attitude. A permanent position is available after a successful temporary period.

Qualifications

• Valid Reach Truck or Counterbalance forklift licence.
• Experience with Combilift/Hubtex is advantageous.
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
• Physically fit with ability to do manual handling.
• Team player with proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate Reach, Counterbalance, and multi-directional forklifts as required.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Pick, pack, and move stock throughout the warehouse.
• Handle long and awkward materials including plastics, timber, and steel.
• Maintain high health and safety standards.
• Support the warehouse team to fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
