Job summary

Pertemps Gloucester is hiring a Forklift Driver in Newent to support a busy warehouse operation. The role pays £12.71 per hour with a £40 weekly shift premium (£13.71 per hour with full attendance) and includes overtime. This temp-to-perm opportunity offers flexible hours and full training.

Candidates with a valid Forklift Truck Licence and a Full UK Driving Licence have a distinct advantage; training may be provided for long-term progression within a supportive team.

Qualifications

Hold a valid Forklift Truck Licence.
Hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
Experience in warehouse, loading, or FLT operation preferred.
Be physically fit and capable of manual handling.

Responsibilities

Loading vehicles safely and efficiently for dispatch.
Operate a Forklift Truck to move products in the warehouse.
Handle and move large doors and related materials.
Support the warehouse team with loading and distribution tasks.
Carry out manual handling duties as required.
Ensure goods are loaded accurately and securely.
Maintain high housekeeping standards in the warehouse.
Follow Health & Safety procedures at all times.
Work flexibly with other warehouse operatives.
