Job summary

Pertemps Recruitment is seeking reliable Forklift Drivers on behalf of our client in Lincoln. You will be responsible for loading and unloading vehicles, yard operations and maintaining safety standards.

Working hours are Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 18:00 with occasional Saturday mornings. Standard rate £13.75 per hour, overtime £20.62 per hour after 40 hours. This is a full-time role with potential for ongoing work.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance).
• Previous experience as a forklift driver is essential.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and workloads.

Responsibilities

• Operating forklift trucks safely and efficiently in accordance with safety guidelines and company policies.
• Loading and unloading vehicles with precision and care.
• Performing general forklift duties around the yard, including moving and organising materials.
• Conducting routine checks on forklift equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Maintaining accurate records of goods moved and stored.
• Keeping the yard clean, organised, and safe.
• Collaborating with team members to meet operational targets and deadlines.
