Job summary

Catering is recruiting an experienced Stores Operative in Cardiff on behalf of our client. You will hold a valid CPCS Counterbalance FLT licence and manage goods, stock control and safe warehouse operations.

The role is a full-time contract with stable hours (Mon-Fri 07:30-17:15) in Cardiff, offering hourly pay of £14.50–£16.50 (DOE) and a chance to work with a well-established client.

Qualifications

• A valid FLT Counterbalance (C/B) licence essential
• Previous stores, warehouse or logistics experience
• The ability to carry out manual handling duties where required

Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking and storing goods
• Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Moving stock and materials around the warehouse/stores
• Picking and preparing materials for dispatch
• Maintaining accurate stock levels and records
• Keeping the stores and warehouse areas clean and organised
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Supporting the wider warehouse/stores team as required
