Job summary

Catering in Rugby is looking for an experienced Fork Lift Truck Driver / General Assistant. The role combines cleaning responsibilities with FLT duties to support production and site operations. You will move pallets, stock and supplies, maintain hygiene standards, and operate scrubbers and sweepers when required.

This is a permanent, on-site role with shift patterns and potential flexibility. The successful candidate will hold a valid FLT licence, demonstrate physical stamina, and work safely

Qualifications

• FLT Licence is essential.
• Experience with FLT operations preferred.
• Physical manual handling required.
• Cleanliness and hygiene awareness expected.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning tasks to specification.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all areas.
• Operate cleaning machinery safely (scrubbers, sweepers).
• Move pallets and stock around site and load/unload.
• Support stockroom and fridges, and assist with general operational tasks.
