Job summary

Global Highland Ltd are seeking a trained Forklift Operator for a client site in Inverness. The role starts as temporary with potential for permanent for the right candidate, operating on a 4-on-3 rota from 07:00 to 18:00.

You will transport goods around site, follow safety procedures, perform safe manual handling and load/unload vehicles. A valid forklift license and recent forklift experience are required; own transport is helpful but not essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid forklift license and have recent forklift experience.
• Be reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Comply with company standards, health and safety procedures, and food safety requirements.
• Be a good timekeeper.
• Ideally own transport to commute, though not essential.

The Opportunity

Global Highland are currently looking for a trained Forklift Operator for our client in Inverness to join their team on an initially temporary role but would consider a permanent role for the right candidate.

This role would be working 4 days out of 7 per week, from 7AM to 6PM, this would be on a rota basis.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid forklift license and have recent experience of using a forklift.
• Be reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
• Comply with our company standards, health and safety procedures, and food safety requirements.
• Be a good timekeeper.
• Ideally a candidate with their own vehicle to and from work, although not essential.
