212 Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for an experienced Forklift Driver to join our busy and well-established client based in Lichfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking to join a supportive team within a fast-paced distribution environment.

As a Forklift Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of stock throughout the warehouse while supporting the wider operation to achieve daily targets.

Formación

• Experience operating VNA and Counterbalance FLT in a warehouse environment.
• Valid external VNA/Counterbalance licence/certificate is advantageous.
• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Operate Counterbalance and VNA forklift safely in a busy warehouse.
• Move, locate and store stock accurately within warehouse locations.
• Load, unload and replenish stock as required.
• Support stock control and inventory checks.
• Carry out daily pre-use forklift inspections and report defects.
• Maintain high health, safety and housekeeping standards.
• Work collaboratively to meet productivity and service targets.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

The Role:

As a Forklift Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of stock throughout the warehouse while supporting the wider operation to achieve daily targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a Countebalance & VNA Forklift Truck safely and efficiently within a busy warehouse environment
• Moving, locating and storing stock accurately within designated warehouse locations
• Loading, unloading and replenishing stock as required
• Supporting stock control processes and inventory checks
• Completing daily pre-use vehicle inspections and reporting any defects
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve productivity and service targets
• Assisting with general warehouse duties where required

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience operating a VNA & Counterbalance FLT within a warehouse environment
• A valid external VNA/Counterbalance licence/certificate is advantageous
• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Positive attitude with a flexible approach to work

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday 10am - 7pm
