Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) in Nottingham is seeking a Warehouse Operator to join a leading manufacturing site. You will work in a clean, modern factory environment with shift rotations (early, lates, nights or 6am-6pm/6pm-6am) and a pay rate of £13.77 per hour, with potential to earn more when fully skilled.

You will handle receipt, dispatch and distribution of materials, build pallets, load/unload with a forklift, maintain inventory accuracy, and support safe, compliant warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• FLT certificate and/or warehouse experience required.
• Basic digital literacy to operate inventory systems.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Receive, dispatch and distribute materials within the factory.
• Build pallets and orders; support accurate order fulfilment.
• Operate forklifts safely and load/unload trucks.
• Maintain stock accuracy and conduct regular inventory counts.

LOCATION: Nottingham, Boots Site
PAY: £13.77/hr, potential to earn extra once fully skilled
HOURS: 8 to 12 hr shift rotation (early, lates, nights or 6am-6pm, 6pm-6am)
DURATION: Ongoing, strong temp-perm and long term opportunities

What You Will Be Doing:

The Warehouse Operator is involved in the receipt, dispatch and distribution of material and product within the factory.

• Use appropriate material handling equipment to move product and materials from and to designated locations to support bulk activities in an efficient and safe manner.
• Build pallets and orders as directed to support successful order fulfilment.
• Safe handling and storage of materials.
• Stock process - handles delivery and sorting
• Work accurately to control warehouse inventory at acceptable levels.
• Analyse material movements to locate parts, serial number, and quantity change.
• Generate movement documentation.
• Perform inventory count, stock material in the appropriate locations.
• Efficiently load/unload trucks and transports with a forklift.
• Assist the daily housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse and logistics area.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures relating to product age and quality.
• Conduct inspection of logistic equipment including FLTs, pallet inverters, racking, etc

What You Will Bring

• Valid FLT certificate (Counterbalance / Reach and/orBendi - in-house accepted) AND/OR relevant warehouse experience. For candidates with no FLT licence a training repayment agreement can be arranged;
• At least a basic digital literacy to operate computer inventory systems;
• Good levels of literacy and numeracy;
• Excellent attention to detail, teamwork and communication skills;
• Focus on quality, hygiene, following instructions and continuous improvement mindset;
